"Thought we'd get back in touch to let you know what a fantastic week on the islands. The instructors were absolutely fantastic hosts and guides, we have all come home feeling like we've learnt loads and have things we all want to work on. The island itself was stunning and the beaches beautiful. Hopefully we will be able to come on another tour soon."

Surf Camp Information

Surf camps are 5 days of activities, with two lessons a day. Our team of experienced instructors will make sure you have a great surf adventure.

All participants must be: 7 years old for family camps; 18yrs+ for adult camps. All must be able to swim 50 meters unaided.

We provide all surf equipment if required including top of the range 5mm wetsuit, accessories, soft and hard boards and equipment for all other sports for that surf camp! You are welcome to bring your own boards too. We supply you with an itinerary list of things to bring for your week.

For camping weeks, we expect customers bring their own tents and accessories however we can hire any camping kit for a small extra cost.

On most of our surf weeks we have either lovely accommodation or great campsites with bathroom and shower facilities, beach BBQs and we eat out in a local pub or restaurant at least once.

Occasionally we go off the radar and free camp under the stars - these tours will be identified with a *

Our surf camps are either on Scotland's beautiful North Coast or the Western Isles.

We will update you on exact locations once booking in. For North coast surf camps we react to the surf forecast that week so locations will be picked to give you the best waves that week.

We can arrange free transport if needed from the closest Ferry (west coast) or Train/ Bus Station (North coast). Customers can also car share.

Standard lessons have a max ratio of 1 instructor to 8 pupils and are often supplemented with an extra assistant.

Our staff all have lifesaving or beach lifeguard qualifications, are disclosure checked, and have an ASI or ISA level 1, 2 or 3 instructor qualification.

South East Scotland is one of the UK's best locations to learn to surf with perfect, small beginner waves in Scotland's sunniest location.  Belhaven Beach is one of the best beginner friendly beaches in Scotland.

In the event of no waves, you will be contacted in advance and offered an alternative sport suitable to the weather conditions, such as stand up paddle, coasteering, surf skate or a beginner zero surf class.  Our range of sports means that we can offer an activity in all but the most extreme weather conditions.
