C2C SURF N SNOW TOUR March 7th-9th 2009

Excellent tour to the North coast with a group of really enthusiastic improvers and intermediate surfers. The Saturday morning and afternoon sessions provided nice 2ft longboard waves before the swell picked up to head high perfection on the Sunday (see photo of the month March). The waves provided a perfect platform to practice lots of prone, standing and turning improvements as well as being a lot of fun! With a lovely cottage in a stunning location and good pub food each night everyone returned home tired but content with plenty of tips to improve on!

C2C NORTH COAST TOUR April 25th-26th 2009

Great tour to the north coast where the group got waist to head high perfectly spaced out waves ideal for green wave practice. Feedback from the customers was excellent with many of the customers catching the best waves of their lives

C2C EAST COAST TOUR May 16th-17th 2009

East coast storm surf came through on the Friday night cleaning up right through the weekend. The size of swell allowed surf exploration off the beaten track and surfing a wide variety of different waves from waist high to well overhead. Definitely took some of our customers outside their comfort zone with many catching some pretty solid surf and the adrenaline definitely kicked in. When the surf dropped off we all went longboarding learning new tricks on the Sunday.

C2C SUMMER SOLSTICE ISLAND TOUR June 22nd-27th 2009

The first of our week tours to the outer hebs - this was a cracker - a great group all celebrating the longest days on some of Scotlands most beautiful beaches. The fact that it was sunny and between 2ft and 4ft all week made life super easy for teaching and on the last day as the swell dropped we all went kayaking spotting basking sharks and seals. Amazing trip.

C2C SUMMER ISLAND TOUR July 12th-17th 2009

Perhaps the best trip of the summer. The team and customers scored a great swell in the head high plus range with some amazing surf for all levels. Add in a full week of sunshine and daily surf lessons, plus beach fires and games - was a perfect week! Photos to follow

C2C NORTH COAST TOUR July 25th-26th 2009

A good two day dash to the north coast to chase head high surf. We didn’t get the best surf on this tour but with onshore waves in the 2-4ft range all day Saturday and enough light for 15 hours of surfing no one was complaining. Sunday provided mini waist high waves that stayed unbroken for over 100m’s ideal for the improvers on the trip.

C2C SUMMER ISLAND TOUR Aug 11th-16th 2009

This trip had a great group of individuals on it that saw both the best and worst weather the islands can offer. The first three days had wonderful weather and head and a half clean swell that got several of the group into the biggest surf of their lives. With lots of boards to choose from we had quite a lot of experimentation possible given different wave size and also got a chance to do other activities such as Skateboarding, powerkiting, sand dune jumping and amazing beach fires. At the end of this week the weather closed in giving 12inches of rain and 40mph winds which certainly brought the group together. However as the weather cleared we were treated to a clear evening that happened to correspond with a meteor shower which was amazing!

C2C HURRICANE ISLAND TOUR 31st Aug- 5th Sep

This was the first advanced tour we have done over a week on the Islands and allowed us to explore waves that would normally be too advanced. We took some of the surfers into some pretty hardcore reef breaks that definitely got the hearts going, giving two of the guys amazing exhilaration rushes as they dropped down head and a half barrelling waves. The rest of the week was perfect surfing overhead wedgy a-frame beaches and working on turns, fitness, movement on the wave and posture. Fun trip!

C2C NORTH COAST TOUR Sep 26th-27th 2009

Lovely waves up in the north west ideal for the improvers and intermediates on this tour. One of the best Autumn trips we have done with a perfect 14 to 15 sec 10ft swell opening up the whole coast! Scotland on weekends like this can’t be beaten!

C2C SURF TOUR Oct 24th/25th 2009

This trip was wild in terms of weather but we still managed to find quality waves for the group outside the wind. Josh, one of our instructors, measures the wind speed using his board.
