2013 TOUR
This year we have 6 Island adventures and 4 weekend tours all to wonderful locations, combining instruction with exploration.
SEASON OPENER March 23rd/24th (2 day)
Two day east coast improvers surf tour. This weekend is all about chasing waist to head high unbroken waves, building fitness, learning tips and improving technique, to stand you in good stead for the summer of surfing ahead. Early in the season this tour is ideal for surfers brushing off the winter cobwebs and joining other keen surfers and our staff.
Whats Included? In all our tours we include equipment ( a wide range of surf boards, bodyboards and wetsuits suitable to year round conditions) and we include instruction in one structured (group drill) lesson per day and one supervised (individual tips) lesson appropriate to conditions. We also offer the potential to be filmed or photographed to improve technique too (if conditions allow and appropriate).
This tour also includes (if east) saturday nights self catering accommodation (if north) two nights accom and we leave early Sat am from either Dunbar or Edinburgh to chase the east coast waves.
It does not include food. Transport is free in our surf vehicle or you can meet us at locations ( the cost of the course is the same if you bring your own transport or meet us at location)
Levels : Improver 1 unbroken waves catching occasionally) & Improver 2 (some control on unbroken waves left and right but lack understanding of how to do good turns, speed control and reading waves).

EASTER SURF TOUR April 13th/14th (2 day)
Two day (East or North coast) beginners/improvers surf tour. This weekend is all about chasing waist to shoulder high unbroken waves, building fitness and learning tips and technique improvements to stand you in good stead for the summer of surfing ahead. Early in the season this tour is ideal for surfers brushing off the winter cobwebs and joining other keen surfers and our staff.

WHITE SANDS ISLAND TOUR May 3rd-6th (4 day)
Four day Island course. Our first Island course of the year kicks off with an excellent long weekend surfing to the Inner or Outer Hebrides (depending on weather and waves). Last year at the same time we scored amazing weather and wonderful waves. The Islands are amazing at this time of year and it is a really fantastic way to improve your own surfing and bodyboarding technique.
Whats Included? In all our tours we include equipment ( a wide range of surf boards, bodyboards and if appropriate SUP boards) and includes ferries. We include instruction in one structured (group drill) lesson per day and one supervised (individual tips) lesson appropriate to conditions. We also offer the potential to be filmed or photographed to improve technique too. This week also includes a camping fee if we need to use campsites. It does not include food.

ISLAND HOPPING TOUR May 12-17th/18th (6 or 7 day)
Six or Seven day Island course. This tour aims to chase waves islands hopping the Western or Northern Isles, surfing on a 2 or 3 Islands through the week offering a wide range of conditions and surfing experiences. We offer structured week courses to improve your own surfing and bodyboarding technique while having lots of fun! We also organise beach fires, barbeques and beach games and allow you to relax at your own pace.
Whats Included? In all our tours we include equipment ( a wide range of surf boards, bodyboards and if appropriate SUP boards). We include instruction in one structured (group drill) lesson per day and one supervised (individual tips) lesson appropriate to conditions. We also offer the potential to be filmed or photographed to improve technique too. If conditions are poor for surfing our instructors have a wide range of other multi sport and activity based skills to keep you entertained and having fun. This week also includes a camping fee if we need to use campsites and Ferry costs.

MID-SUMMER ISLAND TOUR June 16th-22nd/23rd (6 or 7 day)
This tour aims to go to the best island for surf for mid summer (could be Inner, Outer Hebrides or Northern Isles) the surf gods will decide !
Six or Seven day Island course. This tour is right in the middle of summer with June seeing the longest days of the year and long distance atlantic and north sea swells. We offer structured week courses to improve your own surfing and bodyboarding technique while having lots of fun! We also organise beach fires, barbeques and beach games and allow you to relax at your own pace.

ISLAND SUNSET TOUR July 14th-19th/20th (6 or 7 day)
Six or Seven day Island course. The first of two of the most relaxed of our surfing adventures during the Scottish summer. One Island, a lot of sunshine, amazing long days (light from 3am to 12pm) and good swell. This tour aims to visit the Outer Hebrides and our favorite islands. We offer excellent surfing all day and barbes, drinks and beach fires watching the sunset! This tour is a surfing holiday at your own pace.

ISLAND SUNRISE Aug 11th-16th (6 day)
Six or Seven day Island course. The second of our super relaxed surfing adventures during this Scottish summer aims to do even more, with optional morning stretches, basic yoga and warm ups. One Island, a lot of sunshine, amazing long days (light from 4am to 11pm) and good swell. This tour aims to visit the Outer Hebrides and one of our favorite islands. We offer structured week courses to improve your own surfing and bodyboarding technique but also build in a holiday atmosphere. If you want to surf all the time you can but if you want to take a session off to read, have a beer, paddle out with the dolphins or visit the local castle you are most welcome too! We will organise beach fires, barbeques and beach games but this tour is a surfing holiday at your own pace.

GROUND SWELL ISLAND TOUR Sep 6th-9th (4 day)
Four day Island course. Our last Island course of the year kicks off with a great long weekend surfing to the Inner or Outer Hebrides (depending on weather and waves). This is the warmest sea temperatures of the year and the Atlantic normally sends lovely ground swell to the western isles. The Islands are amazing at this time of year and it is a really fantastic way to improve your own surfing and bodyboarding technique.
Whats Included? In all our tours we include equipment ( a wide range of surf boards, bodyboards and if appropriate SUP boards) and includes ferries. We include instruction in one structured (group drill) lesson per day and one supervised (individual tips)

This week is potential the last camping trip of the year and as such includes an allowance for camping fee if we need to use campsites. It does not include food or accommodation if needed.

LOW PRESSURE TOUR Oct 12th-13th (2 day)
Two day east coast improvers surf tour. This weekend is all about chasing waist to head high unbroken waves, improving fitness and learning tips and technique improvements to stand you in good stead for the Autumn and Winter of surfing ahead. Prime time on the east coast this October tour, combines warm water with one of the most consistent months of the year for surfing on the east coast of Scotland. Fun way to improve your surfing with 6 other keen surfers and our staff.

In all our tours we include equipment ( a wide range of surf boards, bodyboards and wetsuits suitable to year round conditions) and we include instruction in one structured (group drill) lesson per day and one supervised (individual tips) lesson appropriate to conditions. STARLIGHT SURF TOUR Nov 9-10th (2 day)
Two day east or north coast improvers surf tour. This weekend is all about chasing Shoulder to head high + unbroken waves, improving fitness and learning tips and technique improvements. November still has warm water temperatures (similar to late May) and normally has its fair share of east coast bigger swells allowing plenty of exploration off the beaten track. This tour is slightly more advanced with filming and individual drills and tips being the choice learning methods.

In all our tours we include equipment ( a wide range of surf boards, bodyboards and wetsuits suitable to year round conditions) and we include instruction in one structured (group drill) lesson per day and one supervised (individual tips) lesson appropriate to conditions. We also offer the potential to be filmed or photographed to improve technique too (if conditions allow and appropriate).
