Coast surf cafe is located right next to Dunbar’s train station - providing the perfect post or pre surf environment to relax! We have excellent food including seasonal specials, rolls/panini’s, soups, breakfasts and homebaked cakes. Drink wise the cafe offers a wide selection of coffees, teas and cold drinks including Coast speciality Hot Chocolate and Milkshakes.

SUMMER AT COAST CAFE

The summer is when the cafe really comes to life with exciting entertainment including bands, skateboard and surf contests, surf parties and film nights. Opening Times : Summer (May-Aug 2010) Sat/ Sun 9am-6pm, Mon- Fri 7am-4pm.

WINTER AT COAST CAFE

In the colder months our open fire is excellent to warm your toes, while the rest of you can feel revived with the cafes quality hot drinks and snacks. We also have plenty of film nights and even winter parties in the garden (see photo). Opening Times : Spring/Autumn/Winter (Sep 09/Apr 10) Sat 11-4pm and Mon-Fri 7am-2pm

2009 EVENTS

Coast Launched in Dunbar on 9th May 09 with over 200 people getting down to the funky tunes and watching Danny MacAskill and the Clan Mountainbike team and local skaters putting on a show!!

May 09 Surfers Against Sewage grass routes tour was hosted by Coast cafe in Dunbar with a good turn out and plans to get a more local focus for Scotland.

July 09 Beach clean of Dunbars East Beach, Thanks to all the volunteers who helped collect many bags of rubbish!

Aug 09 Coast cafe and Coast to Coast surf school staff join forces and enter a team into the Dunbar RNLI raft race and end up winning beating all of the other all male teams with a team that included 2 ladies and a grandad!!

August 09 Berwick band Espionage of Loc provide the entertainment in the cafe gardens with some fantastic music!

Sep 09 the cafe hosted a big 2nd hand equipment sale open to local surfers and the surf school.

Oct 09 Halloween Fancy Dress Party loads of surfers arrived on mass all dressed up and getting down to Ray’s DJing!
