We offer a 2 hour learn to surf course for kids. Assuming no previous knowledge, these structured lessons cover the basics the children need to know to have maximum fun in the surf safely! Lessons are open to children 7 to 16 years and include a friendly and experienced Coast to Coast BSA approved surf instructor (plus assistant if required) and top of the range equipment.

It is also possible for Mums and Dads to join children for lessons (we actually encourage it !) and we do have family discounts.

Availability Every day there is surf, April through to end October. All junior surfers must be able to swim 50m.

These courses run every week of the Easter, Summer and October holidays offering an excellent introduction to the fun of the ocean. All our courses are adapted to the age band of the group and current surf conditions. Our experienced staff keep the children on their toes, learning and having fun! The course runs Monday to Thursday each of the following weeks 1pm-3.30pm and assume no previous knowledge and include all equipment. We also add morning classes on certain weeks.

All junior surfers must be able to swim 50m.

In 2008 and 2009 all Summer junior courses were booked out in advance so we suggest booking early for 2010. For all junior holiday courses we guarantee an active experience whatever the local surf conditions. Should we be unfortunate and get flat conditions on any day we will continue to run the courses but instead of surfing we run a wide range of beach and surf games that improve the childrens surf skills and fitness while having fun!

* courses in the Spring and Autumn holidays are subject to instructors decisions on a daily basis - whether they will run and we reserve the right to cancel any individual session due to either extreme weather, large surf conditions or flat conditions. Customers will receive a refund for any day that is cancelled.

lessongreenwaveC2C JUNIOR GREEN WAVE SURF COURSE

In 2010 we will be building on the success of our green wave courses in 2009 and will be offering juniors who are more experienced the opportunity to learn more advanced moves. This course aims to improve surf fitness, knowledge and technique. The course runs during Easter and Summer and includes all equipment.
