We offer an excellent 2 hour learn to surf course for adults. Assuming no previous knowledge, these structured lessons cover the basics you need to know to have fun in the surf safely! Lessons include a friendly Coast to Coast BSA approved surf instructor and top of the range equipment.

Availability We run lessons every day there is surf from March to end of November. Just get in touch to find out the next classes.

groupllessonC2C WHITEWATER SURF DAY

This package offers two surf lessons in the same day that includes extra drills and double the water time. We break for lunch in between classes where you have time to relax and recover. Includes instructor supervision and top of the range equipment.

Availability We will be running day courses every weekend on Saturdays and Sundays from April to October. We also run extra classes on weekdays in the summer (June-Aug).

beginnerlesson4C2C WHITEWATER SURF WEEKEND

This package covers all aspects of surfing a beginner should know! Providing 8 hours plus of supervised water time, the surf programme goes through all aspects of technique and surfing knowledge. On these weekends there is a big social aspect with beach games and barbeques common place. We also recommend the best local restaurants, pubs and accommodation for the Saturday night too. Costs include 4 lessons from a BSA Surf Instructor and all equipment.

On all star (*) whitewater weekends below we offer the opportunity for the weekend to move to a different coastline should local conditions be unteachable. Courses are more detailed, including the opportunity to surf 3 or 4 different beaches and our staff act as surf guides, highlighting many more surfing tips and more in between sessions and and acting as host for  the full weekend. This does cost more usually £40 more. For more details and to book dates please contact us. Free lift can be arranged when booking the back up plan from Dunbar or Edinburgh to and from destinations whether these be Aberdeen, Wick, Thurso, Bettyhill, Durness or Ullapool.

sunsetsurfing1C2C WHITEWATER SUNSET SURF COURSE

This evening course is a fun and sociable way to learn to surf and improve your fitness during the week! As with the whitewater weekends we offer 4 seperate progressive lessons, to give you the knowledge to get you off to a flying start! What better than the stoke of surfing on a week night and watching the sunset. We only run two courses a year, so please book early, prices include all equipment and BSA instructor.

  • Weds 21st April - 26th May Beginners FULL
  • Thurs 22nd April - 27th May Improvers FULL
  • Weds 14th July -18th Aug Beginners (can join each week)
  • Thurs 15th July- 19th Aug Improvers FULL

Cost £95 for 4 lesson course over 6 weeks (we pick the best evenings)

We also basic 2hr evening surf lessons on Mon, Tues and Thurs evenings when surf is good.

Coast to Coast will be offering a unique surf and yoga experience in 2010, energising the spirit and soul. This year we are teaming up with Annie Beatty, an experienced local yoga teacher to offer a week long summer surf and yoga course on the Islands
