C2C BEGINNER SURF LESSON

We offer an excellent 2 hour learn to surf introductory lesson for adults. Assuming no previous knowledge, these structured lessons cover the basics you need to know to have fun in the surf safely! Lessons include a friendly Coast to Coast BSA approved surf instructor and top of the range equipment.

C2C SKILL BUILDER SURF LESSON

We recognise that learning doesn’t just stop after your first lesson. Simple technique advice at all stages of your development is essential to help your surfing improve. Coast to Coast have developed our own unique structured surf program that has 18 different skill builder lessons from white water turns to performance moves on unbroken waves. If you want to improve an area of your surfing get in touch as I am sure we can help.

Availability : We operate lessons every day from March to November. Just get in touch and explain what skills you want to learn and we will recommend next classes. All lessons include equipment.

Skill builder group lessons (two hour) Cost £35

Skill builder one to one (Improvers and Intermediates only) Cost £35 (one hour) or £55 (two hour)

C2C SURF WEEKEND

These weekends offer an excellent opportunity to learn new skills in a very structured, fun and progressive way! With 8 hours plus of supervised water time covering all aspects of technique and surfing knowledge. We run 4 different levels of course :

C2C Beginners 1 Star (for complete beginners). This course teaches everything you should know to be safe and competent in the sea. Introduction to the surf zone is done in a fun and logical way so you build competency catching waves and standing skills.

C2C Beginner 2 Star (for those that can stand white water). This course concentrates on skill building your white water skills, introducing good technique through speed, balance and turning. We add knowledge with wave, beach and equipment analysis to improve your surfing and start to introduce you to green waves.

C2C Improver 3 Star (for those experimenting with green waves). This course is all about how to catch and ride a green wave successfully. Like the other courses we build competency using a range of drills and teaching tools and add surf theory throughout.

C2C Improver 4 Star (for those catching green waves but with little skill). This level introduce simple techniques and positioning and reading of the wave to improver performance. Both pro-active and reflective our teaching styles will help you understand how to surf a wave more fluently and with more style. As with the other courses we add knowledge appropriate to your level to increase your understanding of the sport.

On these weekends there is also a good social aspect with beach games and barbeques common place. We also recommend the best local restaurants, pubs and accommodation for the Saturday night too.  These weekends are super popular so best to book in advance!

* Please note all local surf weekends are subject to local surf conditions. Should you be unlucky and surf not arrive on your booked weekend we can offer alternative watersports courses (Stand up Paddling) on that weekend, or a chance to re book the next available weekend.
